SPRING & FALL CLEANUPS
Caring for your lawn during all four seasons
What’s included
Cleanup services include raking, blowing, and collection of yard waste and leaves from the grass and landscaping around yard. We also perform a final mowing to leave your lawn ready for winter.
Cleanup work varies greatly from property to property based on tree cover. Due to this we cannot guarantee a set price. You can however, set an optional labor limit on how long we work. You can prioritize the areas we focus on first, to ensure we get your most important areas. If no limit is specified, we will work until the job is complete. Our labor rate is $50/person-hour plus tax and is generally a performed by a two-person crew.
We can haul the debris for compost at an additional charge, or use biodegradable lawn bags and leave it on site. There is no longer a charge for lawn bags, but keep in mind that it takes more time to fill lawn bags than to haul away bulk debris.
Important Dates
Spring Cleanups begin when the frost has sufficiently left the ground. It’s always hard to leave the lawn alone on those first warm spring weeks, but it is vital to the health of the lawn to wait.
Fall cleanups begin around November 1st each year. We have to get started, because we have no idea when snow will end our season. If you need a second fall cleanup (time permitting), we offer a discounted labor rate when we come back. Ultimately, you will save money by having us perform two small cleanups rather than one big one!
Haul Away Option
We can load debris on our trucks and haul it away for compost. There has been some cost instability over the last few years with our compost providers. The current rate is $40 per cubic yard of debris, plus tax. If we discover a lower cost option, we will pass that savings along to you.
Special Services
All special services are on an availability basis. Generally, we do not provide special services during the mowing season (May through mid-October).
Shrub Trimming
We can provide trimming for shrubs and small trees up to about 6 feet in height. This service is easily added to a spring or fall cleanup.
Miscellaneous
